Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sengenics, a leading functional proteomics company which leverages its patented KREX™ technology for producing correctly folded, functionally validated proteins. KREX™  has become the gold standard technology for detecting autoantibody biomarkers at exceptional sensitivity and specificity, as well as for quantitative, multiplexed functional analysis of protein-ligand interactions, including protein-protein complexes, protein-DNA and protein-small molecule interactions.

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in the planning, management and launch of Sengenics’ products and services. You will be based at our Massachusetts (Greater Boston Area) site, reporting directly to the Director of Global Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product management activities from development to launch, working closely with the scientific, operations and marketing communication teams;
  • Develop and track product marketing plans, campaigns, and launches;
  • Gather current and future customer product needs to inform new product development and roadmap prioritisation;
  • Analyse market trends to characterise the competitive landscape, identify target markets and develop lead generation strategies and messaging;
  • Develop and nurture new and existing relationships with KOLs;
  • Work with marketing communications to develop content and strategies for outbound communication, inbound strategy, collateral, and sales enablement;
  • Work with stakeholders to define product pricing strategy, positioning and differentiation;
  • Support business unit planning and forecasting;

Minimum Requirements

  • Four-year degree in the Life Sciences or scientific discipline; advanced degree is a plus;
  • A minimum of 4 years of product management experience within a life science company. Specific experience in proteomics, biomarker discovery, or array technology or related discipline is desired;
  • New product development and launch experience.  Experience with kits and consumables preferred;
  • Experience working within a new product development framework and writing key documents such as MRDs and product launch plans;
  • Strong understanding of targeting, positioning, and messaging;
  • Experience with successful cross-functional communication;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential;
