Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sengenics, a leading precision medicine company working to improve patient outcomes through physiologically relevant, data-guided decision-making. Our solutions enable the discovery and validation of immune-protein biomarker signatures for disease detection, patient stratification, and drug response prediction.

As the Marketing Manager/Director, you will be the responsible for developing and managing the marketing, advertising, and promotional activities for Sengenics globally. The position will report directly to the global head of Sales and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage innovative marketing strategies, advertising, and promotional activities globally to grow the business
  • Identify and leverage market trends and competitor data to craft messaging and positioning for technology
  • Conduct and evaluate market research, solicit and process customer feedback and input from our sales team
  • Develop customer segmentation, product positioning, and messaging
  • Collaborate across various functions including marketing, sales, operations, and leadership to meet strategic objectives
  • Develop social media marketing plans
  • Identify and coordinate conferences, webinars, podcasts, and other promotional activities
  • Manage and develop relationships with PR and marketing vendors
  • Lead direct reports in addition to direct marketing responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors in Immunology, Proteomics, Molecular Biology or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in the field, preferably in a commercial biotech or pharma environment
  • Demonstrated success in product or strategic marketing
  • Extensive knowledge of SEO, building brand awareness, developing a strong web presence, and running social media campaigns
  • Strong understanding of protein immunoassay and nucleic acid assays
  • Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Sales experience preferred in capital sales, life science research, or clinical diagnostics
  • Leadership skills and experience leading people and cross-functional teams
  • Highly organized with proven time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams to achieve the organizational goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sengenics, a leading precision medicine company working to improve patient outcomes through physiologically relevant, data-guided decision-making. Our solutions enable the discovery and validation of immune-protein biomarker signatures for disease detection, patient stratification, and drug response prediction.

As the Scientific Support Manager, you will be the primary technical field contact for Sengenics’ customers within the US and Europe regions. This position can be remote or based at our Massachusetts site with travel requirements of up to 50% to CSP and/or customer sites, conferences and exhibitions. The position will report directly to the Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pre- and post-sales scientific/technical support, including preparing and presenting project proposals and study designs
  • Plan and execute on-site hands-on product and service training for Sengenics’ Certified Service Providers (CSP) in US and Europe
  • Coordinate with internal technical team members to address customer and CSP enquiries related to all technical/scientific aspects of Sengenics’ products and services
  • Support sales team in technical discussions and presentations to customers and collaborators during meetings, conferences and exhibitions
  • Provide expert understanding and strong technical competency to customers and CSPs in discussions on project requirements related to the use of Sengenics’ products and services
  • Keep abreast of all research and development in the field of functional proteomics and immuno-proteomics

Minimum Requirements

  • PhD in Immunology, Proteomics, Molecular Biology or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field, preferably in a commercial biotech or pharma environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of immuno-proteomics specifically in protein arrays, protein expression, mass spectrometry and assay development
  • Highly motivated and must have demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in customer support
  • Flexibility in working hours to support multiple time zones if required

As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing global strategic and tactical marketing plans in support of existing and new products and technologies.  This position can be remote or based at our Massachusetts site. This position will report directly to the global head of Sales and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with business stakeholders to determine the strategic direction for new technologies
  • Build the business cases to support strategic initiatives and new product and service development
  • Coordinate across all functions to support implementation, launches, and ongoing innovation of products and services
  • Be responsible for lifecycle management of current methods that could be replaced by new technologies, as well as pricing, go-to-market strategy development, and launch activities
  • Obtain a deep understanding of customer needs as well as complex market and competitive dynamics and make recommendations to scientific and business leadership to increase growth of the business
  • Develop global strategic and tactical marketing plans in support of new technologies

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors in Immunology, Proteomics, Molecular Biology or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of product management, strategic marketing, business strategy, business implementation, and/or consulting experience in Life Sciences industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of immuno-proteomics specifically in protein arrays, protein expression, mass spectrometry and assay development
  • Ability to see the current and future business within a broader context and quickly synthesize implications and opportunities for the business to both internal and external audiences.
  • Ability to think critically and analytically about all business problems.
  • Ability to work with and engage across management team and various functions within the organization.
  • Highly motivated and must have demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in product and project management
  • Experience working in a start-up environment is a plus
  • Flexibility in working hours to support multiple time zones if required
